CIG 667 - Teaching about Latina/Latino Experiences in Education

Examine the various sociopolitical, sociocultural, sociohistorical, and other factors that have shaped, and continue to shape, the PK-16 schooling experiences of Latina/Latino youth. Learn to use a community cultural wealth lens to develop critical understanding of the educational challenges that Latina/Latino students’ encounter in schools. Crosslisted with WMST 699.
