GEOL 625 - Principles of Geochemistry
Credits 3
Fundamental geochemical processes operating within the earth’s lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere. Topics include chemical differentiation of the earth, crystal chemistry, mineral stability and phase diagrams, aqueous geochemistry, isotope geochemistry, organic chemistry. Crosslisted with GEOL 425. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
Prerequisites
College level chemistry or geochemistry.
