WMST 673 - Chicana Feminism and Experience
Credits 3
Examines Chicana/Latina experiences as they intersect with race, class, gender, sexuality, and nation. Examines the work of Chicana/Latina writers, feminists, scholars, performers, artists, filmmakers, and activists. Focuses on issues such as immigration, labor, family, language, education, spirituality, identity, patriarchy, homophobia, and racism. Crosslisted with WMST 473. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
Prerequisites
Graduate standing.
