Exposes teacher candidates to a wide range of children’s literature and develops knowledge for selecting and sharing quality children’s literature in the elementary classroom. Focuses on the role that children’s literature plays in the elementary curriculum. Crosslisted with EDRL 401. Credit at the 500-level requires additional work.
