KIN 424 - Personal and Professional Development in Kinesiology



This culminating experience course will address the personal and professional growth for Health Sciences careers with an emphasis on Kinesiology. Additional emphasis will be made on practical application of principles that foster personal and professional development. A wide breadth of knowledge will be disseminated on topics, such as professionalism, personality, mindsets, emotional intelligence, thinking and cognition, and first impressions. These topics will enhance career readiness for students upon completion of the course.

Credits: 3
Prerequisites: 6 credits of KIN courses, and Kinesiology major with Junior Standing or Higher.
Notes: Fulfills the UNLV General Education Culminating Experience Requirement.
