THTR 481 - Theatre History I
Study of trends in performance and theatrical production beginning with our earliest evidence and pausing at around 1700. Adopting a global perspective, the course will focus on elements of theatre and performance, including environments, architecture, production, acting styles, theory, and audiences.
Credits: 3
Prerequisites: THTR 100 or THTR 199.
Notes: This course is crosslisted with THTR 681. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
