NURS 799 - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner III

Present non-pharmacological methodologies and interventions including individual therapies, group therapies, reminiscent therapy, play therapy, family therapies, and complementary and alternative approaches. Exploration of appropriate clinical application of each therapeutic approach. The use of self, the therapist-patient relationship, phases of the therapeutic relationship, and teaching-coaching functions are included.
