BIOL 658 - Stem Cells and Regeneration Biology

A survey of research literature in regeneration biology and stem cells across the organismal, tissue, and molecular levels. Our focus is on understanding tissue regeneration through model organism studies (invertebrates and vertebrates). Topics include stem cells, wound healing, organogenesis, and age dependent-regeneration, with discussions of applicability towards promoting human regenerative repair. Crosslisted with BIOL 458. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.

Graduate standing.
