EPY 690 - Introduction to the Learning Sciences
Credits 3
The learning sciences are concerned with designing effective learning innovations and environments. Field is rooted in educational psychology, cognitive science, anthropology, applied linguistics, educational technology, and computer science. Course surveys major aspects of the learning sciences, including research methodologies, learning technologies, collaborative learning, disciplinary learning, teacher learning, policy design. Crosslisted with EPY 490. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
Prerequisites
Graduate standing.
