COM 625 - Rhetoric and Public Memory Credits 3
This course explores how we use rhetoric to construct, circulate, and contest shared representations of the past. Students will gain an understanding of the foundational concepts in memory studies through class readings and discussions, and they will gain skills of critical, rhetorical analysis by applying these concepts in writing projects. Crosslisted with COM 425. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
Prerequisites Graduate Standing.
