COM 601 - The Rhetoric of Women’s Rights, 1832-1920 Credits 3
Examination of the rhetorical campaign for woman suffrage and women’s rights from the early nineteenth century up to passage of the 19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution in 1920. Emphasis on identifying, understanding, and evaluating major rhetorical strategies in their historical context. Crosslisted with COM 401. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
