HIST 643 - Comparative Environmental History
Credits 3
Provides a comparative context for the study of global environmental history. Analyzes different societies, from the Sumerians to modern cultures, to discern their different uses of land, water, and other natural resources, as well as the ways in which social institutions applied to the physical environment over the ages. Crosslisted with HIST 443. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.

Graduate standing.
