CED 608 - Counseling the Older Adult

Overview of issues that may be encountered while counseling the older adult. Reviews information on the nature, diagnosis and treatment of common mental health problems of later life. Introduces students to services and support systems that are available to older adults and their families that will assist in the referral process. Crosslisted with CED 408. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
