BIOL 655 - Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy and Biomechanics

Examines structure-function relationships in the context of vertebrate evolution. Tissues and structures of the integumentary, skeletal, and muscular system are emphasized. Biomechanics of materials, structures, and movements are related to adaptations of vertebrates to life in their physical worlds. Crosslisted with BIOL 455. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
