ABS 641 - Structures For Architects III
Credits 3
This advanced elective class offers the opportunity to explore complex structural assemblies such as tensile membrane and shell structures, tensegrity and geodesic construction as well as high-rise structural systems. Lab activities that include experimental construction and testing of models plus advanced computer simulation of behavior reinforce the elemental principles. Crosslisted with ABS 441. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
