PHIL 459 - Philosophy of Religion



Significant topics and debates in the philosophy of religion. Arguments for and against believing in God, miracles, and evil may be discussed, as may the role of religion in society. Other arguments and counter-arguments about different dimensions of religious belief may also be addressed. 

Credits: 3
Prerequisites: One previous philosophy course and Junior or Senior standing.
Notes: Satisfies Humanities Requirement. This course is crosslisted with PHIL 659. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
