BIOL 305 - Introduction to Conservation Biology
Fundamental issues in conservation biology including biodiversity, invasive and endangered species, reserve design, and environmental legislation to provide a scientific examination of the biological underpinnings of conservation issues.
Credits: 3 Prerequisites: Minimum grade of C in the following: BIOL 190A and BIOL 190L (formerly BIOL 196), BIOL 191A and BIOL 191L (formerly BIOL 197), CHEM 121A and CHEM 121L , CHEM 122A and CHEM 122L , ENG 102 or ENG 114 or HON 100 , and MATH 127 or 128 or 181 . The maximum number of attempts for BIOL 305 is three, including earned grades, withdrawals and audits.
