Pharmacotherapeutics is incorporated into the curriculum following completion of the foundation of biomedical and clinical science instructional material and at the beginning of significant interaction with patients to achieve maximum integration between the study of pharmacology in the treatment of disease, the study of patient assessment and care, and the diagnostic and therapeutic processes in the oral health care setting.
