SOC 421 - Classical Social Theory
Major social theorists of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries whose works have led to the development of sociology as a distinct discipline. Includes Durkheim, Marx, Simmel, and Weber.
Credits: 3 Prerequisites: SOC 101 or SOC 102 Notes: Satisfies Social Science Requirement. This course is crosslisted with SOC 621. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
