COM 418 - The Rhetoric of Science This course explores science as a way of knowing (epistemology) and the relationship between language, symbols, and physical reality. Students will gain an understanding of modern and historical scientific controversies, learn about perspectives on the relationship between science and rhetoric over time, and practice producing rhetorically-grounded science communication.
