PHYS 404 - Computational Techniques in Physics Application of numerical methods to simulation of physical systems, including topics in classical mechanics, electrostatics, quantum mechanics, scattering, nonlinear dynamics and chaos.
Credits: 3 Prerequisites: PHYS 181, PHYS 182 and experience with high-level programming language. Notes: This course is crosslisted with PHYS 604. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
