PEX 139 - Wilderness Skills This experientially based course will cover the basics of hiking and camping within a desert environment. Students will learn survival skills, water filtration, appropriate hydration, packing for varying desert temperatures, shelter set-up, meal preparation, emergency protocols, understanding flora and fauna of the area they are exploring and Leave-No Trace principals.
Credits 1 May be repeated for a maximum of 3 credits.
