BIOL 471 - Aquatic Ecology


Principles of aquatic ecology including physical, chemical and biotic attributes - and their interactions - relating to both freshwater and marine systems.

Prerequisites Grade of C or better in each of the following: BIOL 196 , BIOL 197 , CHEM 121A ,CHEM 122A  ,  ENG 102  or ENG 114   or HON 100 , and MATH 127  or 128   or 181   and   and consent of instructor. The maximum number of attempts for  BIOL 471 is three, including earned grades, withdrawals and audits.
Lab/Lecture/Studio Hours Three hour lecture/discussion.
Notes This course is crosslisted with BIOL 671. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
