ANTH 330 - Cultures of Exploitation, Slavery, and Terrorism Anthropology is in an ideal position to examine contemporary practices and historical context of global human exploitation, slavery, and terrorism. We explore human control (nations, communities, individuals) through the lens of political economy, and examine how these practices, though detrimental to individuals, can be integral to institutional systems.
