WMST 473 - Chicana Feminism and Experience Examines Chicana/Latina experiences as they intersect with race, class, gender, sexuality, and nation. Examines the work of Chicana/Latina writers, feminists, scholars, performers, artists, filmmakers, and activists. Focuses on issues such as immigration, labor, family, language, education, spirituality, identity, patriarchy, homophobia, and racism.
Credits 3 Prerequisites or . Notes Satisfies Multicultural and Social Science Requirement. This course is crosslisted with WMST 673. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
