HIST 491B - Women in Medieval Culture and Society Explores medieval women’s experiences as religious leaders, workers, queens and ladies of the manor, and as mothers, wives and daughters. Special attention will be paid to women’s voices expressed in letters and autobiography, literature, historical records and art.
