HIST 473 - History of the Andean Region Central and southern Andes from the Inca period to the present: the Inca Empire, the Spanish conquest, colonial society and institutions, the independence movements, and the republics of Peru, Bolivia, and Chile, with emphasis on reform and revolution in the twentieth century.
Credits 3 Prerequisites Six credits of history. Notes Satisfies the Humanities and International Requirements. This course is crosslisted with HIST 673. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
