ACC 400 - The Accounting Environment


Explores the accounting profession, accounting information systems, internal controls, accounting decision-making, the accounting process and financial accounting, and accounting research.

Credits 3
Prerequisites Admissions to a business major or minor in Accounting or Auditing and junior or higher standing, successful completion of a Competency Exam, completion of ACC 201  with a grade of B- or better, completion of ACC 202  with a grade of B- or better. The maximum number of attempts for this course is three, including earned grades, withdrawals and audits.
Notes This course is crosslisted with ACC 600. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
