GEOL 140 - Conversations with Earth
(Same as GEOG 140.) Discussion of current topics of Earth’s origin, evolution, and habitability. Topics include: radioactive waste storage, catastrophic floods, evolution and extinction of life, climate change, global warming, volcanism, mountain building, ice ages, Nevada geology, ore deposits, and groundwater, among others.
